Greatest importance is attached by Army Council to further increase of man power of Empire hy raising additional native units for service in theatres where climatic conditions are favourable and Army Council is of opinion that no effort should be spared to release for service on main British front as many as possible white troons from those now employed in minor theatres and also to meet further demands which may arise in auch theatres. Do you see your way to making any proposals for raising and officering of native troops in Colony under your government.
